"Nectar blanket" by Ysolda Teague @ysolda

We love modular blankets! From the easy portability when knitting to the flexibility of choosing the ultimate size of the blanket, these hexagons are a blast to knit!  Knit from the center out on size US 3 (3.25mm) needles with an easy lace pattern that is both written and charted, the finished dimensions of the pictured baby blanket are approximately 27 in (67cm) x 31 in (77cm). The baby blanket used 14 hexagons.

The pattern is adaptable to yarns ranging from fingering to aran weight. You will need 4 skeins of Sweet 16 for your MC and 2 skeins for your CC to make the fingering weight baby blanket size.  The pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Number 10" shawl by Lori Versaci @versaciknits

The Number 10 shawl by Lori Versaci was created to capture the appeal of her favorite modern artists. This is an easy-to-knit garter stitch shawl. It is very soothing to work and provides a little extra interest as you watch the color play emerge. It begins with a center tab and then is worked in a series of 2-color stripes. Each color is joined using intarsia, which is very easy to work since you are only working 2 skeins at a time.

Amber knit her Number 10 with one skein each of each of all 10 colors of Urth Sweet 16 Superwash and a size 4 needle.

Size: 87”/221cm wingspan; 22.5”/57cm length at center
Yarn: 1 skein each of all 10 colors of Urth Sweet 16 Superwash
Needles: US size 4 (3.5mm) 32”/80cm circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge

"My brother's favorite hat" by Annelene Evensen

Knit with two strands of Sweet 16 held together to achieve a DK weight, Mitzi had her husband model her son's hat--now he wants one too!  It took 1-1/2 skeins of Sweet 16 to knit the hat, so 3 skeins will get you 2 hats!!!

Knit on size US 6 (4mm) needles with a long tail tubular cast on (video tutorial link provided), the hat flies by quickly once you get cast on. The free pattern is available on Ravelry.
