To celebrate Brad’s transition from behind the Knit Stars camera to out in front as a Knit Star in his own right, Knit Stars Founder Shelley Brander designed The Storyteller’s Bandana Cowl. Shelley’s spin on the linen stitch reminds us of how our stories are all woven together. Simple and meditative to knit, it’s designed to be tossed on for quick warmth and style - minimum fuss, maximum wearability. 

Designed by Shelley Brander to celebrate Brad Knull’s Habit Stacking to Live Your Best Story workshop, The Storyteller’s Bandana Cowl is a fun-to-make, easy-to-wear bandana cowl knit designed to reflect the quiet power of storytelling and the small habits that shape our lives over time. Designed by Knit Stars founder Shelley Brander, the project uses soothing linen stitch texture to create a fabric that feels rhythmic, grounded, and deeply comforting to knit.

It’s the kind of design you’ll make again and again, as it’s made to shine in all kinds of yarn, from solids to tonals to variegated colorways. A great stash buster!

The Yarn

Your kit includes two skeins of MCN Aran yarn from Kim Dyes Yarn.  The luxurious aran-weight blend of superwash merino, cashmere, and nylon is hand-dyed in an exclusive new colorway, Cornflower Blue. The gender-neutral design will be included along with Brad’s masterclass inside your Knit Stars portal this fall.
