"IRL" by Kacey Herlihy @kaceyknits

This triangle shawl is worked from the center top down with increases worked on the outer edges and along the center spine.  A mixture of garter stitch, ribbing and eyelets add texture and visual appeal, and BFL Silk adds luster and drape.  The smaller blue model uses just one skein of BFL Silk, and the larger green model uses two skeins.

"Dueling Skeins" by Loretta McCollough @knitstars

A super simple shawl gets a big lift when knit with two luxurious yarns! The light-as-a-feather stockinette shawl is knit on size US 4 (3.5mm) needles and has ribbed edgings to prevent rolling. After blocking, the shawl measures a generous 14in (36cm) wide x 72in (185cm) long.

The first half of the shawl is knit with one skein of BFL Silk, and the second half is knit with one skein of Moondrake's Pure Lightness, available here.  We've assembled Dueling Skeins kits which include the pattern in 5 color pairings available here

The Dueling Skeins pattern by Loretta McCollough is available for purchase on Ravelry.

"Sockhead Slouch Hat" by Kelly McClure @bohoknits

This classic, simple knit hat pairs perfectly with BFL Silk.  Kelly's hat has been knit over 25,000 times so you know it's a winner!  It uses just one skein of BFL Silk and size 2.5 (3mm) needles. We'll bet you make more than one!

The Sockhead Slouch Hat pattern by Kelly McClure is available free on Ravelry.

"Fake a Fade Cowl" by Shelley Brander @knitstars

This is a super popular pattern here at Knit Stars! Holding 2 colors of fingering weight yarn together on size US 8 (5mm) needles and marling them in the middle "fakes a fade."  One skein each of two colors is all you need!
