"Color Craze Cowl" by Tamy Gore @tamygore

Tamy says "With brioche, slip stitches and a bit of color play thrown in for good measure, this cowl kept me on my toes and was an absolute joy to knit up!" We couldn't have said it better!

Knit on size US 4 (3.5mm) needles for a finished width of 11.5 in (29cm) and height of 24 in (61cm), you'll need 1 skein each of 5 contrast colors (Sweet Sock minis) and 290 yds of your main color (find Sweet Sock full skeins here).  The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry.

"Hip N' Slip Hat" by Ross Taylor @twisted.ambitions.yarn

This fun and fashion-forward hat knits up quickly holding two strands of fingering yarn or one strand of DK yarn on size US 6 & 7 (4-4.5mm) needles.  The color choice possibilities are nearly endless if you choose to marl your colors as Ross did in his sample.

If you want to play with color as Ross did, you'll need 1 skein of Sweet Sock and 3 minis to knit your hat.  If you want to knit a solid hat holding two strands of fingering, you'll need one skein of Sweet Sock.  Or, if you want to go the DK route, you'll need one skein of Wicked DK. The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry.
