"Aranami Shawl" by Olga Buraya-Kefelian
@olgajazzyknits
Aranami 荒波 (Japanese.)- (n) stormy seas, raging waves
“The color and patterning of this shawl reminded me of a winter ocean, with foamy raging waves on the surface,” Olga writes. “Worked in modular technique, this shawl is a great travel project as elements are worked one at a time. Pick your colors and see them transition under your fingers.”
Knit your own Aranami Shawl with 1 skein each 5 colors. Consider mixing up your palette with a pop of color on the edge! (Note: The pattern's estimated usage for the largest color section is 209 yards. If you tend to knit loosely or want to avoid yarn chicken, pick up a second skein of your chosen color for the largest section.)
The Aranami Shawl calls for a US 2 (2.75 mm) needle. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
