Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light

$ 30.00

The yarnstory:

Our friends at Madelinetosh were one of the first to recognize the tremendous generosity with which GG shares her love of orange, thereby propelling orange yarn sales to new heights - and so they compensated her with a commission on the sale of every orange skein. We appreciate their leadership and have followed suit with every yarn (orange or not) from the Spring Hot Loops Wall. 🧡

The yarn:

The base for Madelinetosh “GLO” and “GLS” is the #1-selling, classic Tosh Merino Light, dyed by hand in Texas from wool ethically sourced from South Africa - but with the addition of soft tweed flecks. Light and lofty fingering weight. 100% merino. 0% itch!

GLO stands for GG Loves Orange and is the tonal solid. GLS stands for GG Loves Speckles - and you can guess why!

"European Road Trip Shawl"

“European Road Trip Shawl” is one of GG’s absolute go-to’s.

It has all of the ingredients to be the perfect GG Shawl:

  1. Wrapability- give GG the ability to wrap a shawl two or three times around and she is a happy Iconic Orange Lady.
  2. Added Business - by using “GG Loves Speckles” and “GG Loves Orange” together in this project, you get easy, meditative knitting and let the yarns speak for themselves.
  3. Versatile Shape - The parallelogram shape gives you lots of styling options! Think of those “10 ways to wear a scarf” videos…and have fun experimenting!
