"Antarktis" by Janina Kallio
“We have two stitches in knitting, knit and purl,” Gaye “GG” Glasspie says, “Yet, those two stitches can do so much.” This project really shows off the diversity of those two stitches.

“Antarktis” by Janina Kallio is one of those projects that you won’t be able to put down. You’ll alternate garter stitch and lace sections, and the project will fly off your fingers! The asymmetrical span of this creation makes it the perfect shawl to wrap luxuriously around your shoulders over a sleeveless top or summer dress, or for an added punch of pop with any outfit.

Our project is pictured in Loops Luxe Royal Light "Edison Eagles" (2 skeins) and is knit with size US 6 (4mm)  32-40 in (80-100cm) circular needles. Finished size after blocking is 69 in (175cm) wingspan x 23 in (58cm) depth. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
