Francoise Danoy's "Puaka Shawlette" (Māori for flower) is an elegant, seemingly ethereal, and delicate shawlette. A bud-like stitch pattern creates an interesting texture over the stockinette and a Japanese lace pattern borders the edge of the shawlette for a delicate finish. Wear it draped over your shoulders, or wrapped closed to the neck paired with a shawl pin, this stunning project will be sure to impress.

Loops Trooper Jane knit her Puaka with one skein of Kim's Cotton Candy Lace in September on US Size 5 (3.75mm)needles.

Cotton Candy Lace will truly shine in the crocheted Moebius Cowl by Churchmouse Yarns and Teas. The mind-bending magic of a moebius loop adds a clever twist to that simplest of stitches, single crochet. At just one skein, this cowl will work up quickly for a perfect holiday gift!

To crochet this cowl, you just need one skein of Cotton Candy Lace and a size L (8.00m) crochet hook. You can find the Moebius Cowl for free on Ravelry.

Cotton Candy Lace is perfect when partnered with Kim's Florentine Silk for "Syrinx" by Stephanie Earp. This ethereal and feminine pullover is a stunner. The simple yoke top is shaped by changing your gauge as you knit - only one or two increase rounds (depending on your size) are knit just after the cast on - from then on, all shaping is created by changing your needles and adding in a second yarn! The loose gauge creates a sheer, floating fabric, ideal for layering over tanks and tees on cool summer evenings.

The Syrinx sweater is designed to be worn with about 4-5" of positive ease, and includes finished bust sizes from 36.5" - 66". You'll need two skeins each of Florentine Silk and Cotton Candy Lace for sizes 36.5-53", or three skeins of each for 56.25-66". Pattern recommends needle sizes US 1, 4, 7, and 9.

Evelyn knit her Syrinx with Florentine Silk and Cotton Candy Lace, both in Silver Lining. You can find Syrinx on Ravelry.
