"Moving Forward Wrap" by Denise Bayron @bayronhandmade
This arrow-shaped wrap was designed by Denise at a time of transition as a reminder to continue moving in the right direction.  The garter and lace sections use a center double decrease to create the raised spine and chevron shape of the shawl.

Measuring a generous 14 in (35.5cm) wide and 84 in (213cm) long, this light and flowing wrap is knit with 4 skeins of La Bien Aimée Merino Singles on US 4 (3.5mm) and 5 (3.75mm) needles.  Our model was knit on the colorway "Sansa."

The pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Lapis" by yamagara @yamagara

Cropped at the waist with generous ease, the chevron inset at the waist showcases the beauty of La Bien Aimée Merino Singles glorious colorways!

Knit from the bottom up with a provisional cast-on, the chevron lace and stockinette stitch patterns are worked in the round to the underarm, and the front and back are worked flat separately before being joined at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up from the provisional cast-on to work the hem in short row shaping that accentuates the zig-zag shape of the chevron lace pattern.

The project is knit on size US 3 (3.25mm) and 4 (3.5mm) needles and also uses a size E-4 (3.5mm) crochet hook for the provisional cast-on and Russian grafting. The pattern is available on Ravelry.

We worked our model on colorways "There Goes My Yarn Diet" and "Loam."

Finished bust circumference:  47¾ (53¾, 59¾, 66¼, 72¼, 77¾) in / 121.5 (137, 152, 168, 183, 197.5) cm. The suggested ease for Lapis is 13-18 in (33-45.5cm).

You will need 1 skein of Merino Singles for the chevron portion of the vest for all sizes, and 2 (2, 2, 3, 3, 4) skeins for the main body and bottom ribbing.
