Manos del Uruguay Serena
Manos del Uruguay Serena is an all-season yarn that drapes beautifully and is kettle-dyed in heathered, stonewashed shades. We love it in scarves, hats and cowls and, of course, vests and sweaters.
Isabell Kraemer designed the Ashes pullover with Manos Serena in mind--a cotton/alpaca blend that is soft and drapey with a gentle halo. This seamless and casual sweater has a surprise eyelet detail and gentle tapered shaping under the arm. Find your size and the pattern on Ravelry and pick 7-11 skeins in your favorite color. You'll need size 3 & 4 circular needles. Please note-the yardage for Serena is 170 yards per skein, not 210 as suggested in the pattern listing. Please calculate total yardage for your size to obtain yarn requirements.
And with spring around the corner, we are looking to cast on Ines, a sweet sleeveless top with subtle yet striking yoke details. You'll need 5 (5, 6) skeins of Serena and size #6 & 9 needles for finished sizes 38 (42, 46)". The pattern by the Manos Design Team is available free on Ravelry.
