Garter Dollop Shawl Kit
The "Garter Dollop Shawl" by Fatimah Hinds @disturbingthefleece was inspired by a single skein of beautiful yarn. The one skein that she couldn’t leave behind. The first pattern in a series of quick, one-skein projects, this square shawl is knit in one piece and is designed to use up the amount of yarn you have. We've knit our shawl with La Bien Aimée's Cashmerino, a light fingering blend of merino, cashmere and nylon that is light as a feather in colors that are sure to delight. We used colorway "There Goes My Yarn Diet" for our shawl.
The main body of the shawl is knit in garter stitch on size US7 (4.5mm) needles, and the increases are centered on a simple cable. The finished size of the shawl is 23" x 23" (58 x 58cm), and there are instructions on how to make the shawl larger if you'd like.
The pattern is available on Ravelry.
