Random Acts of Kindness Shawl Kit

$ 79.00

Nim Teasdale's description of her shawl says it all..."Random Acts of Kindness is an elegant and versatile semicircular shawl, embossed by radiating lines of twisted stitches and buds that double and redouble as the rows progress, much the way acts of kindness inspire further kindnesses. This shawl is an experiment in a gradual Pi, with a simple modular chart which doubles, quadruples, octuples and so on, but it does this gradually, rather than doubling all in a single row as in Barbara Walker’s classic Pi shawl."

While the pattern calls for size 3 (3.25mm) needles, Mitzi knit this highly versatile design with size 5 (3.75mm) needles and two skeins of La Bien Aimée Allure in the colorway "Clay," a gorgeous blend of alpaca, silk and cashmere that has a delightful drape and shimmery sheen.

The "Random Acts of Kindness" pattern by Nim Teasdale @nimble_knits is available on Ravelry. P.S. We photographed this shawl wrong-side-out on Beth - oops! - but it still looks spectacular!
