Trompe Wrap Set

When we saw Andrea Cull's fabulous Trompe Wrap, we asked Tulsa dyer Sheila of BigFootFibers to create a jaw-dropping yarn set for us to bring to you!

Andrea's wrap is named Trompe from the French word for “deception” because this design gives the illusion of complexity from a simple slipped-stitch pattern. Using only one color at a time, Mosaic Stitch is an astonishingly easy introduction to colorwork. Worked entirely in Garter and Mosaic Stitches, it offers a nice balance between relaxation and attention, and there is no purling at all.

Your set includes 4 skeins of BigFootFibers Brilliantly Silky BritFoot Sock yarn. The yarn is a luxurious blend of 55% superwashed Bluefaced Leicester and 45% silk that takes the dye beautifully with a soft hand and lustrous sheen.  Each skein contains 438 yards. The Trompe Wrap pattern by Andrea Cull is available on ravelry.com and uses size 4 needles.
