This exclusive kit, a collaboration between Portuguese fiber brand Rosários 4 and designer Filipa Carneiro, introduces the Purl Inlay technique - an innovative approach to color and texture inspired by machine knitting and adapted for hand knitters. In Filipa’s course, you’ll explore this unique method across English, Continental, and Portuguese knitting styles while working with carefully selected materials.

Romaria (meaning 'pilgrimage' or 'popular festival' in Portuguese) and Folclore (meaning 'folklore') are both made in Portugal, using wool from Portugal. And Folclore is extra special - it's a brand-new yarn, not yet available in shops!

Designed exclusively for Knit Stars, this limited-edition kit includes four skeins each of two bases, Romaria and Folclore, in two exclusive colorways. It includes enough yarn for to create both the Simple Colorwork Cardigan and the intricate Shaped Shawl. To make this kit even more special, it comes packaged in a roomy project bag and includes a Portuguese Knitting Pin as a bonus, adding both practicality and a touch of tradition to your knitting experience.
