"Sliding is Fun" by srossinifaust @darnknitanyway

When we saw this beautiful pairing of Cumulus and Cumulus Rainbow in this sweet baby blanket, we were blown away! And a pairing of Cumulus and Cumulus Degradé would be spectacular too! The pattern is simply the knit stitch, but the stitches are slid to the opposite end to work the next color, creating a stockinette section between each ridge--how clever!!!

Two skeins (one of two colors) makes a generous 26x29 in (66x74cm) blanket using since US 8 (5mm) needles.

The Sliding is Fun blanket pattern is available free on Ravelry.

"Fringeworthy" by Shelley Brander @knitstars

"Fringeworthy" is a Knit Stars pattern that has become an iconic design to use with a multitude of yarns. One swirly cake of Cumulus on size  US11-13 (8-9mm) needles makes an entire Fringeworthy shawl. This self-fringing shawl is as much fun to make as it is to wear.

Cumulus is perfect because of its soft cotton drape, and the Cumulus Rainbow offers that striping effect where one color fades into the next.  We couldn't resist knitting up a rainbow to wear all year long.
