La Bien Aimée Cashmerino
The yarnstory: When Shelley asked Aimée to create a custom colorway for Knit Stars from a mood board using two of Shelley's favorite colorways (Dusk & Waterlillies), "There Goes My Yarn Diet" was born. Aimée nailed the beachy vibe from those two colorways on her luscious Cashmerino base (as well as her other bases), and we are over the moon with our new custom colorway!
The yarn: Cashmerino is a delicious s blend of merino wool and cashmere, with a touch of nylon for added durability. Each skein of Cashmerino is a generous 473 yds (433 m), making it perfect for any fingering or light fingering weight pattern. It's especially suited to shawls and sweaters."
Note: La Bien Aimee's mill is not able to provide 100-gram skeins at this time, so your yarn will be bundled into two 50-gram skeins in your selected colorway.
Fiber: 75% Merino, 15% Cashmere goat, 10% Nylon
Weight/Length: 100g, 474 yds (433m)
Gauge Designation: Light Fingering
Gauge: 28-36 sts = 4 inches (10cm) on US 1.5-6 (2.5-4mm) needles.
Care: Hand wash gently, lay flat to dry.

"The Lone Skein Shawl" by Joji Locatelli @jojilocat
We just love one-skein projects that yield so much pleasure and beauty!
This simple crescent shaped shawl alternates bands of slipped stitch, garter stitch and short rows. The crescent is asymmetrical (it’s longer towards one side) and its characteristic shape is achieved by working increases over the edges.
The shawl is approximately 80in (200cm) from side to side and 15in (32.5cm) from top to bottom at the deepest point (after blocking) and is knit on size US 7 (4.5mm) needles. The pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Garter Dollop Shawl" by Fatimah Hinds @disturbingthefleece
This knit-in-one-piece square shawl is the first in a series of one-skein shawls by Fatimah Hinds. Inspired by a single skein of beautiful yarn--the one skein you couldn't leave behind--she created this pattern that is designed to use up the amount of yarn you have. The main body of the shawl is garter but the increases are centered on a simple cable. Knit with size US7 (4.5mm) needles, the finished size of the shawl is 23" x 23" (58 x 58cm), and there are instructions on how to make the shawl larger if desired.
You need just one skein of La Bien Aimée Cashmerino to knit your shawl (we used colorway "There Goes My Yarn Diet"). The pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Block Island Wrap" by Toni Lipsey @tlyarncrafts
Mitzi loved knitting this generous wrap--the faux drop stitches, addictive mesh and textured stitches made this a relaxing yet engaging project that was perfect for road trips or evenings on the sofa. Our model was crocheted with size J (6mm) hook in colorway Le Grand Nuage. The finished dimension of this generous wrap are 74" wingspan x 31" depth (188 x 78cm). Mitzi kept on hooking to use almost all of her Cashmerino and ended up with a wingspan of 93" (236cm).
You will need 2 skeins of La Bien Aimée Cashmerino to knit your wrap (we used colorway "Le Grand Nuage"). The pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Rear View Window" by Casapinka @casapinka
Sharon from Security was excited for the release of Casapinka's new sweater pattern since she snuck in a little detail of her own on the back of the sweater! The sideways knit pullover has fun lace detailing on the front and is knit on size US 7 & 10 (4.5-6mm) needles. We're pairing Cashmerino with LBA Kumo for an eye-popping, super-soft fabric that is a true show-stopper!
The sweater is knit with size US 7 & 10 (4.5-6mm) needles, and the pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry. You can find sizing and yarn requirements for your Rear View Window here.
