Whether you're making a cowl, cushion, or starting a blanket, this kit, paired with Field Guide No. 4, gives you everything you need, along with expert guidance from Ann and Kay on essential log cabin techniques.

✨ The kit

This kit includes everything you need to explore log cabin knitting, featuring your choice of two curated Jane DK colorway collections. No matter which kit you choose, you’ll have enough yarn to knit at least 10 Log Cabin Cloths, each one designed to teach a key technique. You’ll also receive a digital copy of MDK’s Field Guide No. 4, a step-by-step resource packed with tips, inspiration, and project ideas. Ann and Kay will guide you on how to transform them into a cozy cowl, a stylish cushion, or the foundation of a larger log cabin blanket. While a single kit doesn’t provide enough yarn for a full-sized blanket, it gives you a strong foundation to grow your skills and explore bigger projects over time. Together, the two kits include enough yarn to make a crib blanket or throw measuring approximately 30 x 38 inches.

Jane DK is a soft and durable Falkland Merino /Masham wool blend, ideal for creating cozy, long-lasting projects. With its smooth texture and beautiful drape, it’s ideal for the log cabin technique.
