AMANO Mayu
AMANO Mayu is dip-dyed in Peru imitating a dyeing technique used by the Incas. An ethereal yarn is born! So soft and luxurious with rich colorways, Mayu is a treat to knit with and a delight to wear.

Ramble Shawl by Andrea Mowry
"Ramble" by Andrea Mowry is the perfect choice for this beautiful dip-dyed yarn. Simple garter stripes kick off this bias shaped, asymmetrical shawl. Finishing off with brioche herringbone, letting the colors play together in a whole new way that offers a burst of light at the end - leaves you with a texture that makes you want to keep on knitting.
Our model knitter, Leigh, used 3 skeins of Amano Mayu in Stone Grey, and 3 skeins in Frost White. This makes the yarn requirements very close, so be aware that if you achieve a different gauge, you may require an extra skein of each color.
We have a couple of other color combinations to provide some inspiration for you-try Sunny Morning with Celestial (red/grey combo) or Mystery Lake combined with New Red Rock (blue/peach combo).
Here is what Leigh had to say about this yarn and this project: "Ramble was delightful to knit up. The brioche section may look intimidating but is formed with a pretty straightforward repeat of brioche stitches. The Mayu is lovely and soft and a joy to knit with."
Find "Ramble" by Andrea Mowry on Ravelry and make yours with 3 skeins each of 2 different colors of Amano Mayu.
