Sequoia is a delicious single-ply bulky merino dyed in scrumptious colorways by Baah Yarn that knits up quickly into supersoft scarves, cowls, mittens and hats.
Loops owner Shelley Brander has designed a cowl called "Clean Water for All" using one skein each of Sequoia in colors Slate and Venom. The cowl is designed to illustrate the dramatic difference between the pure water that most of us drink, and the dirty, contaminated water that many in the world are unfortunately forced to drink, because they do not have a clean water source.
In exchange for the free pattern (last photo below, after the yarn), all we ask is that you watch this compelling video. Please consider donating to charity:water. 100% of your donation goes to help drill wells that provide clean drinking water to communities around the world. You can give in honor of someone, "give" your birthday, or give $10K and transform an entire community! Can you imagine???
