Bean & Olive

The "Bean & Olive" children's sweater by Andrea Mowry was such a hit that she made an adult version, "Bean & Olive Grown Up."

Both sweaters are knit from the top down (meaning you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style!), beginning with the collar. The circular yoke is adorned with a sweet chevron and heart motif, and then you will separate the sleeves placing them on hold while the body is finished. The sleeves are then returned to the needle, picking up stitches for the underarm for a totally seamless sweater!

We used LolaBean Pinto Bean and Cool Beans DK in "Adella's Purple" and "Lola's Pink" for the body of our sweaters and chose hand-dyed "Fanciful" for our colorwork contrast color. Pick out your favorite colors and make one for you and a lucky child in your life!

This sweater is designed to be worn with 0-4" (0-10cm) of positive ease. Choose your size based on desired finished garment chest size:
