DanDoh Silk +
DanDoh Silk + is a stunning combination of raw silk and silky cotton which creates an amazing fabric that has both structure and drape.
Yumiko Alexander's "Whitecaps" sweater pattern is simple to make with only three simple techniques--knit, purl, and slip. Some sections are knit with one strand of yarn and other sections are knit holding two strands of yarn.
To knit this sweater, you will need 6 (6, 7) skeins of Silk + to knit finished bust size 44 (49, 54)". This sweater is designed to be worn with 4" or more of positive ease. The sweater is shown here in Vanilla with 16" of positive ease and Lava Rock with 11" of positive ease. Instructions for length adjustment are included in the pattern. Keep in mind that if you increase the length, you will need additional yarn. You will need size US 9 (5.5mm) needles. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
