La Bien Aimée Merino Bouclé

$ 32.00

The yarnstory:

La Bien Aimée Merino Bouclé is one of Aimee's newest yarn bases--a luxuriously fluffy and soft 100% Merino that will add amazing texture to all your handknits!

The yarn:

Handdyed in Paris, France, Merino Bouclé is amazing whether knitted on its own or paired with LBA Merino Singles to create a subtle marled texture. While technically a fingering weight, this yarn knits up thick and airy. LBA recommends using 5mm needles and substituting it for a DK to worsted weight.

Fiber: 100% Merino
Weight/Length: 50 grams, 218 yds (200m)
Gauge Designation: While this yarn has the yardage of a fingering-weight yarn (28 - 30 sts / 10cm), La Bien Aimée say that it works up like a DK-weight yarn (20-22 sts / 10cm) and recommends using it with US 8 (5mm) needles.
Care:  Hand wash gently, lay flat to dry.
