La Bien Aimée Felix

$ 38.50

The yarnstory:

La Bien Aimée developed the lace-weight Felix base to be the perfect yarn to knit along with Mohair Silk or Kumo to create a luscious sport-weight gauge.  When we saw Aimee at our Hot Loops event wearing her amazing cardigan, we couldn't resist adding some Fluoro Morganite to our shelves!

The yarn:

Hand-dyed in Paris, this delicious blend of non-superwash Falkland Merino and Corriedale takes the dye beautifully to create vibrant, neon shades on this soft and lofty base.

"Helix Cardigan" by Marianne Munier

If you were lucky enough to see Aimee wearing this sweater at our Fall Hot Loops event, you'll know why we've stocked up on the Fluoro Morganite colorway!  Marrying that colorway with this cardigan is pure perfection!

Aimee's cardigan was knit with two strands of Felix, but she promptly told us how we could achieve an on-trend, alternative halo effect holding one strand of Felix with one strand of LBA Kumo.

The sweater is knit with size US 6 (4mm) needles and comes in a wide array of sizes as well as two sweater lengths.  We've included Marianne's handy size and yardage charts to assist in your yarn selection.  The pattern is available on Ravelry.
