"Illumination Cowl" by Vincent Williams @visuvios_crafts

When we first saw Vincent's amazing cowl, we would have sworn it was knitted. But no, it's crocheted using a centered single crochet that mimics stockinette. Vincent's inspiration for this piece came from intricately carved calabash lampshades and graphic African beadwork.

The cowl is crocheted with a US I/9 (5.5mm) hook utilizing two contrasting colors for maximum contrast. The finished dimensions are circumference 27 in (69cm) and height 10.25 in (27cm). You will need one skein of MC and one skein of CC.

The Illumination Cowl pattern by Vincent Williams is available for purchase on Ravelry.

"Old Soul Beanie" by Tif Neilan @tifneilan_handknits

The design on these hats was inspired by Tif's love of the herringbone stitch. It features a simple stranded colorwork pattern in three distinct colors, to playfully mimic a herringbone motif. This hat is designed to fit with a bit of slouch and is offered in four sizes ranging from toddler to adult large

Carolyne knit her Old Soul Beanie using solids Tin Roof Rusted, Smoke Show, and Oatmeal Raisin. One skein each of three colors is enough to knit two coordinating hats in any pattern size.

Pattern calls for US size 6 (4mm) and 9(5.5mm) 16-in (40cm) circular needles, plus DPNs for decreases. The pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry.

"Coastal Crop Raglan" by Tif Neilan @tifneilan_handknits

Coastal Crop Raglan is a top-down raglan style pullover, knit seamlessly from the collar to the hem. German short row shaping in the back raises the back of neck slightly.

This stylish sweater features pops of color in the slip stitch collar and sleeve cuffs, subtle eyelets within the yoke and a faux cable with eyelet design running down the side body. Finished with a flattering split hem which is slightly longer in the back.

Mitzi knit her Coastal Crop Raglan using solids Teal Me In (main color) and Tin Roof Rusted (contrast color). This sweater is designed to fit with 2-7in (5-18 cm) of positive ease. Choose your size based on desired finished bust circumference:

"Bean and Olive Grown Up" by Andrea Mowry @dreareneeknits

The "Bean & Olive" children's sweater by Andrea Mowry was such a hit that she made an adult version, "Bean & Olive Grown Up."

Both sweaters are knit from the top down (meaning you can try it on as you go and add length to suit your own personal style!), beginning with the collar. The circular yoke is adorned with a sweet chevron and heart motif, and then you will separate the sleeves placing them on hold while the body is finished. The sleeves are then returned to the needle, picking up stitches for the underarm for a totally seamless sweater.

We used solid "Adella's Purple" and "Lola's Pink" for the body of our mom-and-me sweaters, and hand-dyed "Fanciful" for our colorwork contrast color. Pick out your favorite colors and make one for you and a lucky child in your life!

This sweater is designed to be worn with 0-4in (0-10cm) of positive ease. Choose your size based on desired finished garment chest size:
