Manos del Uruguay Fino
We love Fino! The silk component in this single-ply merino blend adds a lustre that is subtle yet compelling. And the gorgeous kettle-dyed, saturated colors of Manos provide a distinctive palette that is elegant and refined.
As soon as we saw Viajante by Martina Behm, we had to get it on our needles! How could we resist a project that can be worn in so many ways? The construction is basically a very long and narrow triangular tube that can be wrapped around your neck several times or opened up as a shawl or wrap. We chose 3 skeins of Fino in fun colorways for our Viajante, but it is also stunning done all in one color. We used size #5 needles. Pattern is available on Ravelry.com.
Treasures in the Sand is a crocheted rectangular wrap that is full of options, with easily customizable length and width, and a poncho option! We paired this pattern with Manos Fino, a single-ply merino/silk blend with that subtle silk luster and loads of drape. Choose up to five colors (or more!) in the beautifully saturated palette. Uses size E hook. Pattern is available on Ravelry.com.
