Mirasol Umiña is a next-to-skin soft blend of alpaca and merino that provides both excellent stitch definition as well as sumptuous drape. We are in love with the vibrant palette of colors.
While Umiña will make fabulous scarves, mittens, hats and sweaters, we chose the Margo Poncho by Elizabeth Smith to spotlight this fabulous yarn. We knit it on size #9 needles and used 5 skeins, for a more floaty, lightweight version than the original. The pattern is available for download on ravelry.
