Nova Cowl Kit

Chevron stripes fade into a center band of stars in this generously sized, mosaic colorwork cowl. The slipped stitches create a sturdy fabric, finished on both ends with a ribbed casing. A tasseled drawcord gives this practical accessory a playful touch!

Mosaic knitting is the comfort food of colorwork, and if Nova is you first time trying it, you’re in for a treat! The impressive patterns in this cowl are created using just one yarn at a time, making the finished cowl appear far more complicated than it is!

Mitzi used one each of four colors of Loops Luxe Plant Based Princess to make her Nova Cowl. The delicious combination of 70% Tanguis Cotton, 20% Bamboo, and 10% Hemp is silky-soft, breathable, and lightweight and is a delight for those who love luxurious plant-based fibers with an irresistibe, subtle sheen. 

Pattern calls for US Size 3 (3.25mm) needles. Your kit contains one skein each of all four colors--Copper Downspout, Cottonwood, Daylily and Local Honey.
