"Altheda" by Jennifer Steinglass is a simple circular yoke sweater, worked seamlessly from the top down. With its easy and rhythmic colorwork chart, this pattern is even suitable for beginners!
Altheda is designed to be worn with 2-4" of positive ease. You'll need 3 (4, 4, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5, 6, 6) skeins of MC and 1 skein of CC for bust circumference 33¼ (36, 38½, 42, 45)(47, 49, 51½, 53¼, 56)“ and size US 4 (3.5mm) and US 5 (3.75mm) needles. The pattern is available on Ravelry.com.
We're casting on Heidi Kirrmaier's "Early Bloomer" for an all-season pullover with easy patterning and short sleeves (the pattern includes directions for long sleeves too!). We're starting our holiday knitting with this "Yuna" hat, mitten and scarf set by Jody Long. The cable pattern is repeated on all 3 projects and moves along quickly. The hat and mittens are knit in the round on size 3 & 6 needles, and the scarf is knit flat on size 6 needles. You'll need 3 skeins for the scarf and 1 skein each for the hat and mittens.
