 "Ranger Fringe Scarf" by Alexandra Tavel
@twoofwands

The Ranger Fringe Scarf is a go-to accessory for brisk mornings and evenings when the sun is low in the sky. Bundle it around the neck or drape it over your shoulders for a light layer of warmth.

You can crochet this scarf using three skeins of your favorite color of Wicked DK (model is shown in Honey), and a US K/10.5 (6.5mm) hook. Megan noted that she crocheted our model very loosely with her 6.5mm hook, and recommends going up to a 7mm or 7.5mm hook if you tend to crochet tightly.

The "Ranger Scarf" pattern is available on Ravelry.

"Guðbjörg socks" by Hélène Magnússon
@helenemagnusson

Inspired by a pair of high socks in the Textile Museum in Blönduós, Iceland, the Guðbjörg socks are designed with contrast stripes and clever lines of purled stitches down the side of the leg which give the socks great elasticity.

The Guðbjörg socks are knit top-down with German square heels (known throughout Iceland as the Halldóra´s heel) and round toes.

Pattern calls for US 1.5 (2.5mm) needle. To fit feet measuring 20 (21.5, 23.5, 24.5) 27, 28.5 cm / 7¾ (8½, 9¼, 9¾) 10½, 11¼” in circumference, you will need 1 (1, 1, 2) 2, 2 skeins of your main color and a few yards of contrast color (model is shown in main color Honey with contrast color Oh My Stars). Pick out enough for two pairs and flip the colors so you can have coordinating socks with your knitting bestie!

The "Guðbjörg socks" pattern is available on Ravelry, or in Hélène's newest book, Socks of Iceland.
