Possible is the new impossible
Back when this girl was knitting a sweater for her college boyfriend, could she ever have imagined...
That she would open an ad agency and then a yarn shop...
That she would have tens of thousands of Loops and Knit Stars friends all over the world...
That she would write the story of her crazy journey, and that Hay House / Random House would publish it?
If you read nothing else in this newsletter, dear friend, read this:
"Impossible" comes true. Every single day.
My book is now available for Pre-Order. Why pre-order now instead of waiting until it's published January 12? Three big reasons:
Big reason #1: When you pre-order, you get a bunch of bonuses that are only available in the pre-order period.
Big reason #2: Pre-orders REALLY help us make the best-seller lists (we've already made three of them, woohoo!). And we're trying for the big ones, like Wall Street Journal and NY Times. Early reviews indicate we could make it! 💪🏽🎉 How cool would that be...to be part of getting a yarn-related book to the top of the lists???
Big reason #3: Making the lists isn't just for fun - it's a way to get the message out FAR and WIDE. The message that it's important to put your passion first. That your creativity is valuable. That YOU are valuable, and you can overcome anything.
This is going to be a wild ride, my friends. I'd love for you to come along - and share with others who could use a dose of what reader Andrea calls "the sunniest outlook in troubled year of 2020." ☀️😊
Pre-order the book from your favorite source and get all the bonuses here.
Maybe you haven't been in a holiday mood. And that's ok.
It's alright to feel a bit down, a bit different, a bit less put-together. It's been that kind of year.
So in case you need to hear it, consider this your permission to relax - with a simple garter stitch project.
Think of someone that has been special to you this year - someone that could use a soft, squishy, fiber hug around their neck.
Visualize their smile and thanks when they feel the stitches you made so carefully. (And if you're visualizing yourself right now, even better 💙)
Then settle in and make that special someone a Suede Fringe Scarf.
This is an easy garter scarf on Size 10 needles that will treat your fingers to 2 skeins of Chasing Rabbits Fiber Co. Merinolux Aran...and a surprise at the end!
This yarn is a *joy* to work with. No kidding. And there are more than 20 semi-solid hand-dyed colors to choose from!
What turns this simple garter into a statement scarf is the *suede fringe!* It's like magic. It looks, feels, and moves just like suede, adding a soft texture and perfect swing to the end of your project.
