From the moment Season 2 Star Beata Jezek, founder of Hedgehog Fibres, picked up her needles, she was hooked on fiber. Frustrated by the lack of inspiring yarns, she began hand-dyeing in her kitchen, blending bold, expressive hues that would go on to shape her globally beloved, woman-led studio.

Hedgehog has dyed a kit for Knit Stars ever since Beata was a Star in Season 2! In celebration of Knit Stars' 10th anniversary, Hedgehog Fibres has created a special-edition kit just for the occasion!  This commemorative set includes five beautifully curated skeins of Hedgehog Sock, blending seamlessly into a vibrant, artistic fade. Paired with the Fa-La-La-Fade pattern, it’s a joyful way to let the colors shine.

By far Hedgehog’s #1 selling base, Hedgehog Sock is the perfect balance of softness and durability. The soft-spun 21.5-micron Merino wool takes dye beautifully, resulting in vibrant, painterly skeins with incredible depth. The dye takes beautifully on this base, creating bold, expressive colorways that shine in any project. Plus, it's mulesing-free, ensuring ethical sourcing without compromising on quality.

Weight/Length: 100g / 400m per skein
Gauge: Fingering
Care: Hand wash cold, lay flat to dry

All patterns are included with your Season 10 purchase and will be delivered digitally through your “Season 10 – Be Extraordinary” Knit Stars Portal. (There is not a physical pattern).
